HG Data Appoints Product Strategy and User Experience Veteran, Faith Chiang, as Vice President of Product

SANTA BARBARA, CA – October 18, 2016 – HG Data, the leader in market intelligence for installed technologies, today announced the appointment of Faith Chiang to vice president of product, responsible for driving the company’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap. An accomplished startup veteran with a proven track record building highly successful early-stage products, Chiang will accelerate HG Data’s validated traction by developing new industry use cases to scale the company’s reach within the mid market technology sector.
Chiang brings over 15 years of transformational product leadership experience to HG Data, most recently serving as vice president of product at business analytics platform, FirstRain. In this role, Chiang oversaw the strategic development and launch of the Orion platform and architecture, empowering customers to deliver highly targeted, business-critical insights to sales, marketing, and analytic teams within enterprise organizations. Additionally, Chiang was responsible for the company’s “mobile-first” strategy and modernized FirstRain’s applications and components to meet growing mobile investment and CRM productivity.

The announcement follows news of several critical new leadership team hires, including the appointment of fellow Silicon Valley software and engineering expert Robert Fox as chief technology officer, media strategy executive John Connell as vice president of digital, and former Intel veteran Barbara Winters as HG Data’s new vice president of marketing.
Prior to FirstRain, Chiang was chief experience officer at Within3, a leading provider of digital collaboration solutions for healthcare professionals. At Progressive Insurance, she was recognized for conceptualizing the interface for the patented and award winning ‘Name Your Price’ online policy purchasing tool, which resulted in record-breaking conversion growth. Chiang began her career at Juno Online Services (now United Online), where she played an integral role in the company’s shift from a free email service to the second largest Internet Service Provider at the time.
